The third release in a three-month series from Yamaguchi Fujio!

In December 1973, about six months after Murahachibu's final live performance, Fujio returned to Tokyo from Kyoto and recorded his first solo album, "Himaburushi," at Elec Studio.
Mitsuo Takazawa (bass) and Kiyoshi Takahashi (drums) participated as recording members, and Fujio played not only guitar and vocals, but also blues harp, bass, and percussion.
It is known as a masterpiece that shows the wide range of Fujio's musicality, as he wanted to break the public image of himself as a blues guitarist at the time.

As Fujio mentions in his book "SO WHAT," after spending an enormous amount of time on trackdown, he was convinced that the finished sound was "definitely a great-sounding record," but when the record company at the time cut the sound, it ended up sounding flat and far removed from what Fujio had heard during trackdown. He tried again, but the released record did not sound the way Fujio had intended, and he expressed his frustration.

The vinyl reissue released in limited quantities by HMV in 2021 was digitized from the original open-reel master, and this reissue has also been digitized from the original open-reel master. The mastering engineer for this reissue was Soichiro Nakamura (PEACE MUSIC), who has worked on many of Fujio's works in recent years, including the 2022 remastered CD of the same work, and the cutting engineer was the renowned master Shigeru Takezawa (Nippon Columbia). True to Fujio's words, "I'm sure that one day, an even better analog will be created, and it will once again coexist with the world of CD (from Fujio Yamaguchi's book "SO WHAT")," this reissue was produced with the aim of faithfully extracting the sound image recorded on the master, taking advantage of the characteristics of vinyl to reproduce a sound as close as possible to the sound Fujio desired.

In addition to the specifications of the original release, including the cover band, it also comes with a lyric card featuring unreleased photos from the time of release, and it has been decided that it will be reprinted in limited quantities on the first ever colored vinyl (clear/light blue)!
