Uri Nakayama / tempura (LP)

Nakayama Uri's 12th full-length album, "Tempura," was released in 2023.
This masterpiece, which begins with the artist singing and playing electric guitar, focuses on the vocals while the transparency of the strings shines through, and is now available on vinyl!

"Tempura," released on CD and digitally for the first time in about three years since the previous album "11," is now available on vinyl, a long-awaited release.
The album includes 11 tracks, including "Swimming," which was produced primarily by himself at home during the self-isolation lifestyle caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and released as a digital single, as well as "Osoi Hikari" and "Kurage." The album also features new songs that make use of the strings sound newly introduced in live performances, adding a fresh touch to the album.

<Profile>
A singer-songwriter born in Saitama Prefecture.
He plays the accordion, trumpet and guitar.
He debuted in 2007. In 2011, his song "Me and the Cat on a Merry-go-round," which he wrote and composed himself, was aired on NHK's "Minna no Uta." In 2016, his newly written song "Moshimoshi See-saw" was aired on the "Shakin! Music" segment of the Educational TV program "Shakin!" In 2019, he was in charge of the theme song and in-drama music for the drama "The Man Who Was Picked Up by a Stray Cat," which aired on BS Premium.
Currently, "Let's Meet at Shakujii River" is used as the closing music at all 15 libraries in Kita Ward, Tokyo. "Hotaru" is the theme song for the film "Maboroshi no Hotaru," which was released nationwide in 2022.
