ermhoi's latest album, "Junebug Rhapsody," is finally being released on LP! This latest work is a reinterpretation of their shocking 2015 debut album, "Junior Refugee," with a modern sensibility. In response to the positive response following the digital release, the LP version is now available.

ermhoi, who made a stunning debut with "Junior Refugee" in 2015, has reinterpreted the album with their current sensibilities and released this new work. In response to the overwhelming response following the digital release, they have decided to release it on LP. (Note: There are no plans to sell the CD.)
Since his debut, ermhoi has quickly built a solid career.
She has been a guest vocalist for Tokyo Shio Koji, whose talent was praised by Steve Reich, and in recent years has received endless offers from both domestic and international artists, including Daiki Tsuneta Millennium Parade, WONK, Eiko Ishibashi, Shun Ishiwaka, Jim O'Rouke, Phew, and Ibeyi.This is her first full album in two years since "Dream Land" (2021).
This work, a reinterpretation of the long-awaited debut album "Juniore Refugee," produced after eight years of success and growth, not only exudes artistic merit but also a refined sound that transcends the boundaries of pop and jazz. ermhoi likens his creative process, updating his expression while revisiting his past self, to the painter's repeated application of his brush over the years. For a musician who is forced to confront his past hits as he ages and gains experience, this could be seen as a new way of creating work that acknowledges the conflict and refinement that goes into it.
Also, the jacket artwork is different from the digital release, and is a special LP design that pays homage to "Junior Refugee."

ermhoi Profile <br>A track maker/singer with roots in both Japan and Ireland who moves freely between genres.
He released his first album, "Junior Refugee," from Salvaged Tapes in 2015. His activities are diverse, and he not only provides music and remixes for movies and TV commercials, but also provides support as a vocalist, synth player, and chorus player.
In the past, he has not only collaborated with his contemporaries such as Shun Ishiwaka (Answer to Remember, CRCK/LCKS, SMTK), Daiki Tsuneta (King Gnu), and Fumitake Ezaki (WONK), but has also performed with musicians with unique worldviews such as Eiko Ishibashi, Jim O'Rouke, Phew, and Ibeyi.
Furthermore, he has been selected as a guest performer in works by MONDO GROSSO, Tokyo Shio Koji, Sen Morimoto, and Maika Loubt_, and has had many interactions with artists active both in Japan and abroad.
In 2018, he formed the band Black Boboi with Kobayashi Utena and Julia Shortreed, and performed at the Red Marquee at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '19. Since 2019, he has also been a member of Millennium Parade, led by Daiki Tsuneta.
The new album, "Junebug Rhapsody," is his follow-up solo work to "DREAM LAND," released in December 2021. His "golden" talent has his sights set not only on Japan, but the world.
